Authorised by the Dutch Foundation for Personnel Certification in the Electro technique (STIPEL), DNV operates the certification schemes for Electro technicians.

The certified Electro technicians are working at low and high voltage installations and at different competency levels:

• Certification Scheme Instructed Person High Voltage (VOP-HS) with a written examination, part multiple choice, part “open” with practice test

• Certification Scheme Skilled person High Voltage (VP-HS) with a written examination, part multiple choice, part “open” with practice test

• Certification Scheme Operation Expert High Voltage (VP-HS) with a written examination, part multiple choice, part “open” with practice test

• Certification Scheme Operator High voltage installations (BD-HS) with a written examination, part multiple choice, part “open” with practice test

• Certification Scheme Nominated person in control of an electrical installation and/or a work activity High Voltage (IV/WS-HS) with a written examination, part multiple choice, part “open” with practice test

• Certification Scheme Instructed Person Low Voltage (VOP-LS) with a written examination, part multiple choice, part “open” with practice test

• Certification Scheme Skilled person Low Voltage (VP-LS) with a written examination, part multiple choice, part “open” with practice test

• Certification Scheme Nominated person in control of an electrical installation and/or a work activity Low Voltage (IV/WS-LS) with a written examination, part multiple choice, part “open” with practice test
